To help you
prepare your file for printing we have some guidelines that should
be followed in order to obtain the best results.
CLIENT SUPPLIED FILES
To image silk screens
for screen printed signs artwork must be provided in “vector”
format. Vector format means that the artwork is made up of lines
not pixels. Graphic programs that create vector based artwork
are CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator.
If you cannot provide
artwork in vector format we will have to create it for you. Simple
straight forward text layout is provided free of charge. If logos
must be recreated art fees will apply. Please contact customer
service for more information.
The screen print process allows for printing of solid ink color
only. Printing of halftone images is not possible. Also, tight color
registration is not possible when printing more then one color.
Colors can shift up to 1/8” between color layers. For halftone,
tight registration & full bleed printing choose our full color
digitally printed signs.
All screen printed signs
will have a 1/2” border on each of the 4 sides.
